A little background on myself….

My name is Melanie Gentry and I am a native Texan! Growing up on a farm, nestled at the base of the Guadalupe Mountains in west Texas, I became accustomed to witnessing the beauty and wonders of nature on a daily basis. An appreciation of natural light and surroundings led to my passion for landscape and lifestyle photography.

While completing my education at Texas Tech University, I partnered with my mother, Phyllis Gentry, to launch Creative Enterprises, a marketing and communications firm  to provide professional design, communications and marketing solutions for small to mid-sized companies engaged in every area of business. While we serve a diverse group of clients, we both love agriculture and are committed to promoting the industry and its producers at every opportunity.

Since launching Creative Enterprises, I have found myself utilizing my photographic skills for a variety of client projects including web sites and print advertisements,  but I have always wanted to do more with photography and video. I am pleased to finally be able to take that step, and excited about the official launch of 242 Productions.
